How CrewTab works
Five things, in order. Each one takes a minute.
Add your crew
Share one join link or read out the six-character code. Each worker signs up on their own phone and lands on your crew. You set what they earn: per square foot, per day, per job or per hour. Settings decides what they see on their side.
Log the work
A drywaller logs 3,400 square feet. A lead hand logs a day. A helper on hourly taps Clock in. It lands on Days and you approve it in the morning, one tap for the whole crew.
Close the week and text pay
Subs get a self-billed invoice with GST on top when they are registered; the only thing taken off is an advance they agreed to. Employees get overtime, stat holidays and vacation pay worked out. Close the period, text everyone their link, they tap Looks right or flag it. Export the CSV for your accountant.
Tomorrow's jobs
Book tomorrow on Jobs: what, where, what time, who. At 5 pm the app texts everyone on it the address and two buttons, I'll be there or Can't make it, and Jobs shows who said what.
Papers that do not expire on you
Tickets, licences and WorkSafeBC letters, with a heads-up 30, 14 and 3 days before they run out. Texts shows every message the app sent and whether it landed.
Not a quoting or customer-invoicing app. Subs get a self-billed invoice for their own pay. CrewTab is the crew side: who worked, what you owe them, and whether their papers are current.
